My journey into photography

My interest in photography grew from my passion for aviation. What started as photographing aircraft gradually developed into a much wider interest in capturing fast-moving subjects, particularly aviation, railways and sport.

I enjoy the challenge of photographing moments that only exist for a few seconds — whether that's an aircraft passing through the Mach Loop, an unusual railway working or the action of a live sporting event. Photography gives me the opportunity to capture those moments and preserve them in a way that tells their story.

My photographic approach

I aim to create images that feel natural while still showing the movement, scale and atmosphere of the moment. Rather than simply documenting a subject, I look for interesting angles, lighting and compositions that give each photograph its own character.

From aircraft and trains to live sport, I want my images to give the viewer a sense of what it was like to experience the moment in person.

Future aspirations

My goal is to continue developing my photography and building a professional portfolio that reflects my progress across aviation, railway and sports photography. I want to keep challenging myself with new subjects, locations and opportunities while developing my own recognisable style.

In the future, I hope to work alongside airlines, railway operators, sports clubs and other organisations, using my photography to capture the moments and stories that make each of them unique. I also hope to collaborate with photography brands such as Canon, gaining opportunities to test equipment in real-world environments and showcase what it can achieve through my work.
